How do I pay out wages?

Once a staffer has worked at your company, you are responsible for paying their wages as a regular employee. Payroll information for job seekers is available in your company admin at admin.staffersapp.com where you can log in with the same username and password as on the app.

After logging in, you can press "payments" in the menu on the left. Then you will get a complete overview of everyone who has worked with you, what hours, and total pay.

You can also report hires done outside the platform in this overview. This can be sent to your accountant who can easily pay salaries to those who have worked for you.

Can I hire a job seeker I have had in from Staffers?

Section 3.6 under "Hire fee" in Terms & Conditions. In the event a customer / employer wishes to hire a Staffer off the platform, the company will notify Staffers AS and will later be billed NOK 2500 for direct employment or engagement with a Staffer off the platform.

This can easily be reported through your company administrator, which you can access through logging in to your company, admin.staffersapp.com under the Pay section.

If the hours are wrong after the watch, how do I change it?

You can easily change the hours of the watch afterwards, as long as this is approved by the staffer.

What is the difference between a temporary jobs and Event Jobs?

Temporary shifts is for companies such as Restaurants, Bars and Nightclubs. Here you get all the job seekers' pay details transferred so that you can pay wages together with your regular employees.

If you are an event venue, event company, catering company or hotel with events / banquets, you have the opportunity to post event jobs.

An event job can only be outsourced by companies that can be allowed to have (contractor) instead of an employment contract (temporary employee) because of Norwegian labor laws. Staffers Event AS will invoice the entire amount to you as a customer.

Which are the job seekers inside Staffers?

Staffers only look for job seekers who have experience in the industry. we have set a minimum level of 1.5 years of experience to qualify. To qualify the applicants, they go through our vetting process. Here they add their digital CV, with previous work experience and references. Then we do a background check on this and give job seekers the right access according to their experience based on what the referrals say. We do this to avoid looking through irrelevant CVs.

Cancellation policy

It is important that the staffer shows up on the shifts the person is going to work, as both parties have signed a work agreement.

To make our cancellations as simple as possible, we operate a Strike system. As soon as the staffer reaches three strikes, the account is blocked. Companies can view the strikes received by the staffer at any time and cancellations they have made in their profile.

If the staffer resigns for more than 48 hours before the shift begins, the staffer will receive no strike. Cancels between 48 and 6 hours before a shift = 1 strike.
If the staffer says in less than 6 hours before the shift begins, the staffer will receive two strikes. Cancels less than 6 hours before a shift = 2 strikes.
If the staffer gets 3 strikes, the account will be blocked and the staffer will have 5 days to file a complaint to support@staffersapp.com

If the staffer does not show up for a job and does not report to the company, we will immediately block the staffer's account, and the staffer will have 5 days to file a complaint to support@staffersapp.com.

How to deduct tax?

If you use Temporary shifts and you are going to pay the salaries of a staffer, they get their tax card so that the correct tax deduction is deducted from the salary.

Can others in my company access the company profile?

Yes, you can easily add multiple administrators. Once you have added an administrator, they will have full access to the company profile. To do this, go to your profile in the app, then click "Add manager".

What does Staffers cost?

For Temporary shifts:
As companies, you set the hourly wage in the system in accordance with Norwegian law. These vary from a minimum salary of 168 to 175 NOK depending on the position. When you pay out wages with your regular employees, the usual ones are the usual ones for social security contributions as employer contributions.

For Event Jobs:
This is the best solution for customers who are unable to add new staff to the payroll system. When using Event Jobs in the system, we send in Staffers Event AS an invoice with the full amount, hourly usage plus the hourly rate. Since there is no social cost, the minimum amount per hour is 210-240 NOK.

How does the rating system work?

Let the star rating show how your staffer has worked on the job.

5 star system works like this:
5 stars: good
4 stars: satisfied
3 stars: adequate
2 stars: insufficient
1 star: not recommended

When you give a staffer a rating, it will not be visible to he/she before the person has received 5 different assessments from at least two different jobs.

What is the age limit for being a job seeker in Staffers?

Any workplace where a staffer wants to serve alcohol over 22%, this person must be over 20 years old. This applies to positions as waiter or bartender. If your staff is to serve alcohol below 22%, the age limit is 18 years.

How can I communicate with job seekers at Staffers?

An instant chat is automatically made between you and your staffer as soon as you accept their application.

You also have the opportunity to ask the job applicant questions via a direct chat before accepting them at work if they are anything more you are wondering.

How long before a job can I accept a Staffers application?

If you accept an application from a job seeker within Staffers within two hours, a binding agreement has been entered into. If you wait longer than two hours to accept the application, an additional confirmation from the staffer is required.

If more than two hours have passed, you can accept other requests to fill the position faster. The first staffer to confirm the request gets the job.

How do I create a profile for my business?

You can easily create a company profile by providing the necessary information such as company name, type, address and organization number.

How do I pay the service or recruitment fee?

You will get a monthly invoice will the full amount.

How to get paid?

When working through Staffers, you are a temporary employee at the businesses you choose to work for. Therefore, you will receive a normal salary as an employee. Your payment details provided in your profile will be sent to the employer after a completed shift.

Error message: You don´t have access to "position" jobs.. yet...

This error messages appear because you have not added enough prior experience for this position with a reference number. Add this to your profile and you will be evaluated again.

We need you to add:
* Name of the place
* Position you had
* Name
* Phone nr to your previous employer
* When you worked there

What is the difference between Shifts and Eventjobs?

Shifts
When you are picking up jobs from the "Shifts" column in the application, you become a temporary employee at the business hosting the shift. Your payment details are sent to the business at the end of the month, and they will then pay your salary together with their other employees.

Event jobs
When you are picking up jobs under the "Events" column, you will work as a freelancer and are required to send an invoice to get paid for the job. You can choose to invoice yourself if you have your own company. Otherwise our system will automatically use our third party provider, frilansfinans to invoice this for you, and the money will be placed into your account, just like a normal salary.

Because we know the hard work people in the hospitality industry work, we have sat the minimum wage on event jobs at 210 NOK/h to cover the extra percentage that is added when you send an invoice from Frilansfinans.

How to find your tax card?

Exemption card/ Frikort

How to adjust your free tax card.

* Log in.
* Find the name of the company you are going to/have worked for in the list.
* Set what amount you are going to earn from this employer/business. (ex. 1250 NOK). If you have multiple employers, like most Staffers do, you must divide the amount amongst them, but it cannot pass the maximum amount of (55.000 NOK).
* This means you can adjust the different amounts between the employers over time, but if you have already earned salary from a business, the minimum amount you already earned must be listed here.  
* Add what amount plan to earn on the job in the right column. Press "send".

If you do not to this before the business given salary period, the business are obligated to tax you, 50% tax of the total amount earned on the job.

Why cant I see my star rating?

You need 5 different ratings from at least two different companys to see your average rating.

How can I verify myself?

To verify your profile in our system, you need to either verify it by Bank ID or by uploading a passport and a work permit. This is to ensure professionality on the platform.

Waiting to be accepted on a job?

To give you more flexibility, we in Staffers have built in nice features to ease up your job searching process.

From the moment you apply for a job, the company have 2 hours to accept you to the job. IF the company exceed this time limit, you will receive a confirmation notification, asking if you still want to job or not.

If the business doesn't accept anyone before two hours,
the manager can accept all the people that applied and the first one to confirm will get the job.

When you get the notification about the two hours, the app will take you directly to the "confirm screen" The first one that push confirm, get the job and the job will be at the "my jobs" screen under "upcoming".

Cancellation Policy

It’s important to turn up for the shifts you are hired for. If you fail to do so, we may have to suspend your account.

To make our cancellation policy as simple as possible, we operate with a three strike policy. As soon as you reach three strikes, your account will be suspended. Businesses can at anytime see the strikes you have received and cancellations you have made in your profile.

If you let the business know you are unable to make your shift more than 48 hours before your shift is due to start, you will not receive any strikes.

Cancelling between 48 and 6 hours before a shift = 1 strike.

If you let the business know you are unable to make your shift less than 6 hours before your shift is due to start, you will receive two strikes.

Cancelling less than 6 hours before a shift = 2 strikes

To remove a strike, you need to complete 3 shifts with an average rating of above 4 stars.

When you reach three strikes, your account will be suspended and you will have 5 days to submit an appeal to support@staffersapp.com

If you do not show up at a job and fail to notify the business, we will instantly suspend your account and you will have 5 days to submit an appeal to support@staffersapp.com

Contracts

For shifts, you become a temporary employee during the period of the job post at the establishment you choose to apply for. All temporary work agreement contracts are automated and signed inside the App.

Who is responsible for my tax card

The business that you work for will get you tax card. They have all your payment information so they can get your tax card from Altinn. If you have a "frikort" you need to inform the business some before they pay out salary.

Minimum wage in the application

The minimum wage is NOK 167,90 if you are over 20 years old. If you are over 18 years old the minimum wage is 134,09.
This will be regulated after Norwegian law

Cleaner have the minimum wage of 181,43 NOK.We have some jobs on the platform that takes more experience, on these positions we have sat a minimum wage of 175 NOK. This is for bartenderes, chefs and waiters.

How do I get access to pick up jobs in Staffers?

To access Staffers, you must go through a 7 step process.

1. Verify with facebook
2. Enter phone number
3. Name, Email and any reference *
4. Add experience (Name and number of former employer). Here you will get 5% per previous job, up to 3 jobs.
5. Choose which position you have experience with
6. Choose the days you are looking for work
7. Write a description of yourself and make a short movie where you tell a little about yourself.

Work visa/ offer letters

Unfortunately , as we are an IT work platform we cannot issue any kind of work visa or offer letters. Our platform is only for people that are already eligible to work in Norway. You can sign up through our website if you get a work visa/offer letter in the future.
